what does "far from it" mean ?

Context is needed to answer what "it" stands for.
"Far from" means "not" or "not at all."
So, if someone says "far from it", whatever "it" stands for does not have anything to do with them.
Here's an example :
A : You are not angry then?
B : Far from it ! (B is not angry at all.)
