How to understand 'action'?
The explanation of word 'action' in dictionary is : the events in a story, film, play etc, then one action includes how many and which events in a story or film? Another question is what is the difference between 'proportions' and 'scale' when it means the level of something?
Thanks.I want to know what is the difference between event and action when talking about film or story?
Thanks.

Action-something someone does: Her actions had repercussions for us all.
Proportion/scale-pretty much the same, though if you were talking about a person's body for example, you would use proportion-Her head is in proportion to/with her body.

1. Study the dictionary meaning. It is correct.
2. Proportion/scale are pretty much the same word.
