How long should we read each day? How should we read? What is your "reading style"?

It is stated that English language learners should read between 10 to 5 pages per day. If you don't understand the words, then look them up in the dictionary, thesaurus, or even online to get an idea of what the true meaning of the words really are. It is quite difficult to get the hang of knowing a book, article, novel, short story, and essay on the first time of being read. You should read what you feel the most comfortable way for you really is. My reading style is to start out with something short and then continue if interested in reading a book, novel, short story, literature, or poems.

Lol! I often read and correct 25 essays a day. If someone gave me a dollar every time a student concluded their creative essays by writing, "It was only a dream. Mum was telling me to get up and go to school" I would be a millionaire by now!

I aim to read 10 pages per day. I think it's best to read slowly and look up words that you don't understand. Perhaps if you know you're going to read the book/article twice then you can skim read it the first time to get the sense of it and then read it in full again. I don't ever expect to have a full sense of a book/article on the first reading; if you want to get good at remembering the structure of a book (so you can present it) then it pays to read it several times.

It depends on my mood and many other conditions, when I'm depressed I can't do anything, when I'm in my good mood, I can read the whole day. But if I have exams, I need to study. about my reading styles, I read medical books of course, and grammar books sometimes, and I don't read horror novels :p
