How to use "piacere"?
I am confused,
Why it is "Mi piacere l'estate" but "Alla mia amica pica la caccia"?
in the first sentence there's no prep. before"mi" ,but in the latter one "prep" is used,there's "a" before "mia amica"?

'mi piacere ABC' is not correct.
'mi fa piacere ABC' is correct.
here /piacere/ is a noun, NOT a verb!
The construction of 'piacere (verb)' is quite the opposite of the construction of 'to like' in English.
Examples

About the first sentence, you also can say :" A me piace l'estate".
Mi = a me.
in Italian the personal object pronouns have two forms: the tonic form ( es me, te, lui, lei, noi ecc)
and the unstressed (atone) form ( es. mi, ti, lo , gli, la, le, ci ecc) .
If you use the unstressed form, you never have to use the prepositions

il verbo piacere in italiano è un verbo intransitivo e quindi ci va sempre una preposizione,
"mi" sta per "a me"
a me piace l'estate, alla mia amica piace la caccia
