In the following sentence, what does "go the limit" mean?
I'm in this thing pretty deep now - I might as well go the limit.

Go the limit= to do as much as possible; to get as much as possible.

go to the limit .. don't hold back at all. It means you will not stop until you cannot go further.
Similar expressions:
I've reached my limit. (means I cannot go on)
