the informal would be : TU
Vous = You (two persons or more )
Vous = You ( just one person, this is the formal form)
You with one person, or the informal one would be : TU ( TOI )

"vous" is the formal form of you. It is pronounced "voo". The s shall not be heard.

Yes, you're right. But "you " in French should be spelled like "VOUS" instead of "vouz". :)
