You can say:
I know a little bit of English. or
I know a little English. or
I know a little bit about English. or
I know a little about English.
--> They are similiar in meaning.
Hope this helps Ludwig!

They are both correct. You can say: I know a bit of English OR I know a little English - and they mean the exact same thing.
