Fancy as an adjective can mean an item is really nice, impressive, or highly decorated. For example, "Your dress is fancy!", or, "That house is really fancy.".
As a verb it means that you would like to have something or try something. For example, "I fancy a piece of chocolate cake.". Or, "I fancy a cold beer.".
