to say that to a dog is : " Coucher!"

to lie down in french means : s'etendre , s'alllonger
to lie down in bed ( to go to sleep) : se coucher

Hello,
The verb lie-down would be translated to "s'allonger" in French.
But if you meant the order "Lie down!" it would be "Allonge toi !"
