" picking up some great take out "
It depends how you use it in a sentence.
But its another word for "on the go" if you are in the restaurant or fast food you will order your food for take out, meaning your not going to eat it the restaurant but your going to take it with you, so they will pack the food for you carry it.
hope it helps!

Some restaurants have takeout meals. You can call them up, drive there and pickup the food and bring it home.
