You need to add either a 'the' or 'your' in the middle to specify the person you are talking to. I.e.: Did you bring THE book along? OR Did you bring YOUR book along? You can also add 'with you' at the very end to make it more specific, even though it isn't necessary. I.e.: Did you bring the book along with you? Hope you could understand ^_^
