does anyone know what's santham(சந்தம்) in tamil ilakanam?

கவி வண்ணம்; The metrics of the song. Some words are added to song to balance the metric as Charles said.

Hi Santham means its meaning less word which, we are using in tamil song, to add extra rhythm like (lalala, thana thana). Thanks
