what is the meaning of Meet demands in this sentence?
we are so short of money that we can hardly meet demands.

"to meet demand(s)" means to be supply enough products and/or services to satisfy the desire of people who wish to buy them. Example: A factory produces 200 cars a month. However, the public is ready to buy 400 cars a month. The factory does not meet the public's demand for cars.
