What's the difference in the use of "ねえ" and "おい" when greeting?

We don't say おい to friends.
It is self-pride words.
And We don't use ねえ,おい for greeting.

「おい」とは、男性が親しい間柄や目下を呼びかける際に用いる感動詞です。「ねえ」は主に女性が使う言葉です。
