The official name of the restaurant is <<TGI Friday's>>. Or just Friday's for short. The name of the restaurant comes from the initials TGIF. This is short for a common phrase "Thank God it's Friday!" This is something that someone who works Monday through Friday might say on Friday, since it is the last day of the work week.

TGI Fridays is an American themed bar and restaurant, and in my opinion, the best one there is!! ;D
