You must use little when generally when you refer to size and 'few' is most used to mean quantity, specially poca cantidad.

Se debe utilizar "little" cuando está hablando del tamaño: I have a little dog. He has a little bed. También, se debe utilizar cuando está hablando sobre un cantidad que no se puede contar: I know little Spanish. I know a little about him. Se debe utilizar "a few" cuando está hablando sobre un cantidad que se puede contar: I have a few dogs (I have 8 dogs). I know a few words of Spanish (I know approximately 150 words). ¡Ojalá que este ayudes! Lo siento para los errores. No hablo español con fluidez. :)
