Is the preposition choice write in this sentence: 'Was she calling Craig for the entire afternoon?'
Can I use the preposition 'for' instead of a verb on this situation?

It depends on what you mean. Do you mean that she was calling Craig repeatedly all afternoon? If yes, then your sentence is fine.
