I noticed that many of the Indians use the word "Shana" What does this word mean?

shaana means clever, shrewd generally used in sense of being cunning.

Shana is actually a slang term, which means a 'wise guy' the more correct term as correctly pointed out by @lordgaurav would be sayana (male) or sayani (female).

syana is used for a good feedback whereas shana is used for loose talk
Syana for Masculine**************** Shana/Shaney for Masculine
Syani for Feminine****************** Shaani for Feminine
