Sorry, guys. B is correct. The bad weather resulted in the plane being delayed. You could try: The bad weather caused the plane to be delayed. <-- Can not use "being" here like that.

A is correct. "the plane being delayed" is a gerund. "resulted in" always comes before a gerund. B would be correct if instead you said "The bad weather caused the plane's delay". Here, "the plane's delay" is a simple noun, and not a gerund noun.
