Can someone help me with this Korean sentence: 아니 의식이니 먼저 보실려나? 아니 의식이니 먼저 보실려나? This is not a formal sentence, it's difficult for me.. Does it mean: "You didn't see me at the ceremony earlier?" Also, can someone explain to me the use of '-이니' in this sentence, please?

that is not wrong per se. the first part 아니 ** (이)니 basically is just a form of asking whether ** or not.

아니 의식이니 먼저 보실려나? is wrong sentence "You didn't see me at the ceremony earlier?" means "너는 그 행사에서 나를 일찍 보지 못했니?"
