How to write/say Feminine Past Tense "To Be" - Hona (Hindi) I am female, so when I am speaking about myself to someone, and I am using the past tense of "To be" (Hona) do I use 'Tha' or 'Thee' (था or थी ) I ask because I assumed it was थी, but I have a lesson plan that claims था. It could be a typo, I just want to check.

You should use 'थी' because you are female. It will use with "I" "She" and "You" in female condition. But it will be "था" (with I, You, He) if there is male.

It is 'थी' always for female subject, no doubt about that!!!
