Child Chat Chums?
I have a deluge of young students eager to talk, just to practice speaking English. Most are between nine and about twelve years old, some older some younger. Most are intermediate, some weaker and some stronger. Most are Chinese, some Russians and others.
I am looking for native English speakers of about the same age who want to know other persons of other cultures and practice English doing it on Skype, Google Hangouts or QQ. If English is a second or later language that's fine, the purpose is to improve speaking and listening. There is no supervision so there is no correction. The aim is to simply talk and practice the language with a peer from a different culture. An exchange of culture is bound to happen, new friendships are going to take root and blossom.
In the old days we had pen pals, why not have chat chums now? With the technology at our fingertips here is an opportunity to expand beyond the horizons and enrich the lives of young students everywhere!

There is some difficulty in this as I'm sure you know. It is perfectly natural to want to participate and help, but older men simply get labelled accused abused for speaking with younger people. How to allow communication and protect both parties, I don't know.
