Persian "So" equivalent?
In casual English we will often say things like "So, today I..." or "So, what's going on?"
"so" is a thing you say when you're not sure how to start, or when you don't really know what to say.
What is the Persian equivalent to this word (if there is one)?
Thanks! :)

in casual Persian we have خب that pronounce /khob/. it's the shortened form of word خوب that pronounce /khoob/ and means good. so, i translate your examples like this:
So, today I... = خب، من امروز...
So, what's going on? = خب، اینجا چه خبره؟

in accordance to your examples there is an equivalent
پس=so

اگه دوس داشته باشی می تونی به جای خب بگی خو مثلا توی این جمله ها
خو که چی؟ (so what?)
خوچی کار کنم؟

so=خب
