"referencia" como se dice en ingles cuando se trata de hacer un curriculum y quieres poner los datos de un antiguo empleador como "referencia" como se dice "referencia"?? Es a caso "referee"???

La persona que da una referencia personal es un "reference" (Referee is árbitro, and is only used for sports) I hope that helps!

Anders is correct. I would only add that there are usually two types of reference: Personal Reference and Professional Reference. A personal reference is a friend who can vouch for your character and personality. A professional reference is a colleague, boss, supervisor, or client who can vouch for your work ethic and experience.
