Agreement question in a spanish sentence Estudio una leccion (with accent on O) nueva de la comida en las partes diferentementes. Pero no comprendo porque la leccion usa SIRVEN como en: Segun (with accent) costumbres occidentales, a cada persona le SIRVEN la comida en su propio plato y el (with accent) come con los cubiertos. Muchas gracias. P.S. I am a beginner, so please forgive me if there is any mistakes in the writing above.

Hi Fengying: "Sirven" is the 3th person singular of Present Indicative of "Servir" that is the verb used in Spanish to when the waiter serves (brings) the food to diners in a restaurant. Hope this helps.

Then "cada persona" is used as plural form? if so why "el (with accent)" is used instead of ellos? Thanks.
