Help me find a new Chinese name :) 大家好！ I need to find a new Chinese name, my Chinese professor gave me this name : 吴云霓 based on the pronunciation of my Cambodian name which is You Vanni but I don't like it much and my Chinese professor is not Chinese so I'm not sure whether this name sounds good or not. Can you help me find another one that would sound more "normal" is China? It could be a little similar to the pronunciation of You Vanni but not necessarily, it could also be from my personality... I am curious, independent, friendly and I love to help other people. I also love nature and names which refers to natural stuff like flowers, sky, stars, sun, trees, stones and so on. But the most important to me is to find a name that sounds good in Chinese :-) thank you for your help! 你好，吴云霓。 In my opinion, 吴云霓 is such a beautiful name for you since it meets all your requirement. 云 means cloud which will remind people of a gentle and kind-hearted girl. 霓 means rainbow or sky . There's a poem written by Li Bai who is a famous in ancient China. The sentence is 霓为衣兮风为马。霓 is an feminine word which is suitable for girl. I highly recommend this name. I would suggest: 宇凡， this name sounds nice and has a sense of zen, a mix of the pronunciation and the meaning inside the words, never just follow the pronunciation, if you just follow the sound, and you ask a Chinese, hey, how's my Chinese name sounds like? and you will get the answer like "it's ok", but not like"oooh it's awesome!!!"

en fait, je trouve que ce nom 吴云霓 est un très beau nom , mais c'est un peu difficile de parler. j'ai vu les conseils ci-dessus, je pense que 婉妮 te convient très bien, comme toi, une belle fille. Et tes amis et tes proches peuvent surnommer affectueusement 妮妮, /NINI/,c'est mignon ,n'est-ce pas??
