How to translate "Valkyrie on the battlefield" in German?

Eine Walküre auf dem Schlachtfeld.
"Valkyrie" is the English phonetic transcription of "Walküre". These are germanic goddesses that choose (old germanic "küren", "kiesen") the slain in battle ("wal" = old germanic for "battle"). Japanese (and Chinese, I believe) 死神 is something similar.
"On" means "auf", never "am" (= close, nearby).
