It seems that in Chinese lots of expressions, especially those begin a sentence or topic, such as ' I think...‘，’I'm afraid...' do not appear as often as in English. The above Chinese sentence is often said like this:
动作片就要像动作片，不要搞成喜剧片/不要搞得像喜剧片一样。
