「たぶん」と「おおかた」はどう違うんですか？

ほとんど意味は一緒と考えて差し支えありません。
ただ、「たぶん」というのは話し手の心情、つまり気持ちが入ります。
一方、「おおかた」というのは客観的な事実を表すことが多いです。
あえて違いを表すならこのようになります。

たぶん(多分)より、おおかた(大方)の方が、確度が高いと感じます。
I think the probability of おおかた is higher than that of たぶん.
また、若い人は余り「おおかた」を使いません。
おおかた is rarely used on young people.
