I need an explanation or synonym for the expression "to step on out".
As in phrases like "We invite you to step on out and join us..."; or "After hearing your broadcast this morning, I decided it was time to step on out."
Thanks in advance!

It means to leave or go someplace.
This seems like an older expression in my opinion.
Also, the term "stepping out" is also slang for cheating on your partner! So be careful with this.
