"A time" or "the time"?
Can we say 'a time' or 'the time'? My teacher once said we cannot use 'a time' but I don't know why. I am confused. Please help me.

When "Time" is used as "the time is 12:00", we use 'the'. It is also correct to use "a time" when describing a period of time, such as: "We are having a good time".
