What is the difference between joy and happiness?I know the meaning is so similar but I don't know when I should use joy and when I should use happiness. Could you give me examples?

They're synonyms. Their meanings are practically identical; if you were to search the definition of "joy" it describes it with the word 'happiness.' Joy is the state of feeling pleasure or being happy; it can also be affiliated with being ecstatic / very excited, whereas happiness is just a state of being content or satisfied.
