Eternal - lasting forever, beyond human space and/or time.
Example; The earth keeps rotating (no potential to stop)
Permanent - unchanging for an indefinite amount of time, no end has been determined
Example; The Eiffel tower, will always be there (but has potential to fall or is taken down)
