What is gust wind?
Do you be informed wind in weather forecast? Would you please show me an example? Besides, what is gust wind? I always heard the word 阵风 in weather forecast in China. I looked it up in the dictionary, but I am not being sure of the word.

yes, they inform us of the strength and direction of the wind as part of our weather forecasts. "A northwest wind at 12 miles per hour"
A gust is a sudden and slightly to extremely stronger than the normal wind or breeze. I last for just a few seconds normally and can repeat. "there was a gust of wind that blew away our napkins." "during the storm there were strong winds of 30 miles per hour with gusts of up to 80 miles per hour!"
Hope this helps!!
