What is the difference betwen "take off" and "lift off" when talking about aircraft?
I watched a video talking about aircraft and it had the words "take off" and "lift off." What is the difference between them?

Liftoff usually refers to a takeoff that is vertical.

They both can be used. I think Americans use take off and British use lift off. However, both would be understood in the US.
