What's the difference between "Missed" and "Missed out"? What's the difference between "Missed" and "Missed out"?

Missed means you didn't go like: "I missed the party". = "I didn't go to the party." Missed out is more like you could have had something if you went. "That party was really fun you missed out." basically meaning you would have had fun if you came to the party.
