if I were to grill some meat, and the fire were so strong, would it be correct to say " I overcooked the meat."?
the same with boil, fry...etc. What should I say?
Thanks in advance.

You can say "burnt" or "charcoaled"...
..or, "cooked it to death."

"Overcooked" is a very good word. If the meat is black then you can say "I burnt the meat." If it isn't black then you can say "The meat is very well-done." I doubt the meat would be black if you boiled it :)
