1. I'm not sure what you mean by "name after". The only thing I can think of is when something or someone is "named after" something or someone else. For instance:
They named their son after his grandfather.
I named my bulldog Winnie, after Winston Churchill.
My motorcycle is named after the Concorde because it is so fast.

You should try Memrise.com. I don't know if they target phrases, but it is a good start for anyone learning a language.
