That's 「前もって」. 前 means front or forward in Japanese. So "Thanks in advance." is 「前もってお礼を言います。」,''I'll pay in advance.'' is 「前もって支払います。」,- ''I prefer to plan things in advance.'' is 「前もって計画しておきたいです。」 I wish this would be a little help for your question.

「先にお礼を言っておきます。」
「前もって（先に）お支払いします。」
「事前に計画を立てる方がいい。」 In advanceの意味は「前もって」「先に」「あらかじめ」です。

In such situations where you say "Thanks in advance" in English (for example, at the end of email), you can just say "よろしくおねがいします" in Japanese. Sometimes direct translation does not fit, you know.
