Am I grammatically correct if I said it - I am asking my French friends, is the below still hold true ??

I guess by "the below", you mean there is information below your question on a page.
"Would I be grammatically correct if I said this: I am asking my French friends whether the below still holds true."
The phrase in its own sentence would be, "Does the below still hold true?"
You could replace "below" with "following information" to be clearer.
