What is the exact meaning of "away" in this case? Could you please tell me the exact meaning of the word "AWAY" in this sentence, cause I don't really understand. " Describe something you do when you are AWAY on holiday" Thanks a lot!

"To be away" means you are not at your usual location. It's often used to indicate that someone is traveling, but it can also just indicate absence. "To be away on holiday" means you are taking a vacation. I'll be away from my desk until 2 pm. I will be away during the week of the 16th.

It means "not at home" or "at a different location than home".
