Getcha is "Get You, understand" or "Get Your" Gotcha is I got you, I understand.

Gotcha is like saying "got it." This confirms understanding. Example: Tim: " Please bring me a diet Pepsi." Jake: "Got it, one diet Pepsi." Getcha is really only used when playing with children, and it means "gets you." This means I will grab you or catch you. Example: "Daddy will getcha!"
