qual'e` il nome alterato diminutivo piu` usato del sostantivo CITTA`SO DALLA GRAMMATICA CHE I SUFFISSI DIMINUTIVI SONO -INA -ELLA -ETTA .ALLORA DOVREBBE ESSERE CITTINA CITTELLA CITTETTA. IL SOSTANTIVO CITTA` NON SEGUE LE REGOLE??

cittadella, ma in realta` usiamo 'piccola citta`'; is suffissi seguono regole d'uso.
Una regola grammaticale e` comunque quella di evitare sovrapposizioni di significato;
'cittadina' non e` un valido diminutivo per /citta`/, in quanto e` un altro vocabolo, che significa: abitante della citta` (al femminile).

Il termine citta` in genere non ha variazioni fatte con i suffissi;
qui servono mille e mille esempi e esperienza che si fa un po` alla volta.
