I was watching a movie in english with korean subtitles and then something I had never seen appeared "내가 미안하오, 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았소" can someone explain me does that mean? 감사~

Do you know that we Korean use six speech levels in conversaion?
The sentence final endings such as "-소", "-오" are usually used when speaking in the speech level "하오체". The 하오체 is used when speaking to adressee in a formal and ordinary honorific style.
For examples,
합쇼체 : "제가 미안합니다. 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았습니다."
※ 하오체 : "내가 미안하오. 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았소."
하게체 : "내가 미안하네. 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았네."
해요체 : "내가 미안해요. 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았어요."
해체 : "내가 미안해. 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았어."
해라체 : "내가 미안하다. 지도자로서 너무 속이 좁았다."
