What is the difference between -지 말아요 and -지 마세요?
From what I have read and seen I think they are used with the same meaning but I might be wrong. Thanks.

지 말아요/지 마라요/지 마요 (lol) are basically just the plain forms, while 지 마세요 Adds a respectful/'please' tone.
Ex- 티비 보지마요. "Don't watch T.V."
티비 보지 마세요. "Please don't watch T.V."
Both could be fine, but use ~지 마세요 to be safe C:
