I'd recommend a movie script :P For one thing, it's spoken language, and for another, you are actually reading a dialogue where there is interaction between speakers A and B, or more :)

I suggest that you find articles about topics that you really enjoy. When you read the articles you should speak each word out loud. Speaking and pronouncing the words will help you become more comfortable with speaking. All people learn how to pronounce words by copying the sounds from other people, so it would help you a lot if you could find an English speaker who would listen to your pronunciation and correct any mistakes. The more we speak, the easier it will be. If you listen to audio or video files, you can try to copy the pronunciation from the speakers. There are many websites that have a transcript (the written text) of the words that the speaker is speaking. Here are a few links: (1) http://www.elllo.org/ (2) http://www.eslpod.com/website/show_all.php?cat_id=-59456&low_rec=860# (3) http://www.esl-lab.com/ ............................. I hope you enjoy the wonderful food in Xi'an..... good luck.....
