The use of 的? How do we form a noun using 的, for instance 别人的经验 or 漂亮的地方？

的 it means something belong to somebody or the owner of something eg My book 我的书 The man of Vietnam 越南（的）人 and it can also be a hint of an adjective eg 漂亮的人 a handsome person 奇怪的事 Strange things
