I don't believe in destiny at all. It all boils down to our own choices. People who believe in destiny tend to lose their responsibility and power of will, because they think everything is fixed. When you're drunk you have the choice to step into your car and kill someone or to abstain from driving. It's not destiny if you step into your car and you kill someone. It's your own choice. You can't say "It was destiny that I killed this person with my car". It was a choice that resulted in a crime that needs to be punished. Just like that, everything is your own choice. It's not destiny that someone is born without an arm, it's just bad luck. It's not destiny that an earthquake happens right before the olympics, it's just bad luck. It's not destiny that humans wage war all the time, it's a choice.

Man is the Master Of his Own Destiny.. like what Einstein said " Nothing happen without a cause". everything happen for a reason and its not destiny that holds your Future , but its YOU only You can make Your Own Destiny..

i believe there r fixed steps in our lives that we have to pass through .... the time between each 2 steps is ours and we have the choice. i believe in GOD and i believe in GOD 's justice, therefor; we can't be judged if we can't choose, however; there r some moments in our lives where we don't have a choice we just have to deal with them, and how we did deal with our times is a scale for measuring those moments difficulties.

@An indian guy: What about incest? Is it destiny as well? So when someone fucks his own daughter, do you just say "that's destiny"? And what about other crimes? Are they all destiny? Because in that case you can't help it and you shouldn't be punished for your crimes. You can't be punished for a crime you were meant to do, right? The criminal had no choice, because it was all destiny. So we shouldn't punish the criminal. That's what you're saying, right? In my opinion, that's crap.
