Both of them are noun.
情况: usually describe a dynamic state
1.circumstances;situations;condition;state of affairs: 不了解情况- be out of the picture; 我的情况不好- Things are bad with me.
2.militery situation: 有情况就报告总部-Any change in the situation is to be reported to the headquarters.
状况:usually describe a static state
circumstances;situations;condition;state of affairs: 婚姻状况-marital status

情况多用在抽象的事物上,而 状况多用在具体的事情上。
有的时候它们可以互换。

"情况"的范围要比"状况"大一些,有时可以通用。“情况”has a larger range than "状况",sometimes they can be interchangeable. But "状况" emphasize on the current status now.
Here are some examples for these two phrase:
◎情况
1. 根据具体情况而定。
It depends on the specific situation.
2. 一有情况你就要立即报告给老板。
You should report to your boss immediately if something happened.
◎状况
1. 他的家庭经济状况不太好。
The economic situation of his family is not good.
2. 大多数中国老人的身体状况都很好。
Most of the Chinese old people's health situation is good.
