How to say half, a quarter, etc in Chinese language?
Basically, I just want to know how to call '/' in '1/2', '2/3', '1/4'. :D

a quarter = 1/4 = 四分之一
分 means parts, to split, to divide.
之 equals to 的, which is common in witten Chinese.
四分之一 literally means "four parts' one".
